Denzlingen during Nazi time

Victims – Culprits – Resistances

In 1942 the Polish prisoner of war, Kasimierz Dworak, was shot dead in Denzlingen for "mutiny and resistance" by a watchman. His grave is here in the entrance to the cemetery. What has happened in the Nazi era in our town and what further victims are to be deplored should not be forgotten. In addition to Dworak there are two citizens of Denzlingen who were imprisoned in Ravensbrück concentration camp and murdered in Bernburg/Saale (see tables 12.1 and 12.2).
